DESCRIPTION

This person is responsible for independently and professionally delivering food and beverage service and sales.

Maintain good relationships with both guests and colleagues.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Perform waiter/waitress duties in line with the service culture and brand standards.
  • Properly maintain their work area and equipment.
  • Prepare the setup for service, including tables, trolleys, or any furniture/items commonly used during service.
  • Carry out additional tasks associated with the role.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Studies in Hospitality and Gastronomy (Vocational Training or similar), with a specific module in Hotel and Restaurant Service

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a waiter/waitress assistant in a 4- or 5-star hotel or gourmet restaurant

  • Knowledge of the MICROS operating system is a plus
