DESCRIPTION

Attend to all guest arrivals and departures, as well as their requests, inquiries, and complaints.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Greet each guest with a warm welcome, smile, eye contact, and by using their name.
  • Manage tasks related to room occupancy and sales.
  • Carry out billing and payment processes.
  • Receive, handle, and direct guest complaints to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle guest check-ins and process check-outs.
  • Careful cash handling.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping department regarding room status.
  • Support and participate in the training of new team members in the Front Desk department.
  • Ensure confidentiality of guests’ personal information.
  • Be familiar with and implement proper occupational health and safety policies.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Tourism or equivalent vocational training

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Assistant in 5-star hotels

  • Knowledge of the Opera system is a plus
