DESCRIPTION

Attend to all guest arrivals and departures at Castillo Hotel Son Vida, as well as guest requests, inquiries, and complaints.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Welcome each guest with a warm greeting, smile, eye contact, and using the guest’s name.
  • Handle tasks related to room occupancy and sales.
  • Perform billing and payment tasks.
  • Receive, process, and direct guest complaints to the appropriate services.
  • Handle guest check-ins and process check-outs.
  • Careful handling of the cash register.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping department regarding room status.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of guests’ personal data.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma in Tourism or similar vocational training.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a reception assistant in 5* hotels.
  • High level of spoken and written Spanish and English (German is highly valued).
  • Knowledge of the Opera operating system.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of non-verbal communication in interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Initiative-taking ability.
  • High customer orientation, friendliness, and congeniality.
