DESCRIPTION
Perform in a qualified, autonomous, and responsible manner the preparation and garnishing of dishes, following the instructions of the head chef at Castillo Hotel Son Vida. Always comply with company standards, current safety, and hygiene rules and practices.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Prepare, cook, and present culinary products.
- Collaborate in the setup, service, and breakdown of buffets.
- Review and control kitchen materials, reporting any incidents.
- Control and ensure the proper storage and utilization of products available.
- Check the condition of refrigerators and temperatures.
- Date and rotate stocks logically.
- Ensure the hygienic state of the area.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Minimum qualification: Vocational training in Culinary Arts or similar.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a similar position in 5* hotels.
- Languages: Spanish is essential, English is valued.
- Initiative and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Precision, attention to detail.
