DESCRIPTION
Person responsible for responsibly serving and selling food and beverages at Castillo Hotel Son Vida. Will maintain good relations with customers and associates.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Perform auxiliary support tasks for the waiter/waitress according to customer service in restaurants and bars.
- Properly maintain their work area and tools.
- Prepare the setup of the service, table, or any other furniture or common use items in the bar.
- Perform other tasks derived from the job profile.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Minimum qualification: Studies in Catering and Gastronomy (vocational training or similar), specific module in Hospitality Service in Hotels and Restaurants.
- Experience: waiter/waitress in a 4* or 5* hotel.
- Fluent Spanish and English, German is a plus.
- Knowledge of the MICROS operating system is a plus.
- Greet and acknowledge the customer with a smile, eye contact and using the customer’s name whenever possible.
- Demonstrate an awareness of the importance of non-verbal language in communication and interaction with the customer and colleagues.
