DESCRIPTION

You will need to carry out, in a qualified, autonomous, and responsible manner, the preparation and seasoning of dishes following the instructions of the kitchen supervisor during the shift.

Always ensure compliance with company standards, as well as current safety and hygiene regulations and practices.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare, cook, and present culinary products.
  • Collaborate in the setup, service, and breakdown of buffets.
  • Check and control kitchen equipment and materials, reporting any issues.
  • Ensure proper storage and optimal use of available ingredients.
  • Monitor the condition and temperature of cold storage units.
  • Label and rotate stock logically.
  • Ensure hygienic conditions in the kitchen area.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Vocational Training Level 2 in Culinary Arts or similar

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar position in 5-star hotels

  • Languages: Spanish required; English is a plus
