Assistant Project Manager

At Arabella Hospitality España, we are looking to hire an “Assistant Project Manager” focused on the area of improvement, development, and maintenance of properties, including renovations and repairs. The role requires the ability to assist in the organization and analysis of the technical supervision of a diverse portfolio of properties in Mallorca.

The primary objective is to maintain and maximize the value of luxury properties such as Castillo Hotel Son Vida, Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel, St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort, and the 4 golf courses of Arabella Golf Mallorca, providing guidance, advice, and supervision in all aspects of long-term Capex strategy and project development. This includes an overview of maintenance and repair programmes, energy optimization plans, seeking operational efficiencies, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance concerning the physical state of the assets.

We are looking for a junior technical profile, a proactive and dynamic individual eager to grow professionally and become part of a growing group of companies with a significant volume of operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the fulfilment of Capex Strategy and planning.
• Assist in the management and control of Capex projects in the hotels/golf courses.
• Assist in the technical maintenance of the group’s buildings and facilities.
• Review the physical state of the properties (construction, FF&E, installations), carrying out regular inspections of the facilities.
• Document management of various projects, including technical follow-up of submitted bids.
• Control of proper preventive maintenance of the properties, considering the lifecycle of the elements.
• Support and promote energy optimization programmes.

Requirements:

• Degree or certification in building, construction, engineering, or related fields.
• High level of Spanish and English.
• Driving licence.
• Mandatory knowledge of Spanish regulations in related areas, especially urban planning regulations of the Balearic Islands.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction/engineering.
